Let's get caught up, I'll start with the move!!

(Bye-Bye Texas!!! Picture taken June 2006)

We left our Texas house (or the house without stairs, as the kids refer to it) on Monday November 26th 2007 at about 8:30 pm and drove until 1am. I was SOOOO tired! Then we drove for the next 2 days from about 9:30am till 10:30 pm. It was a very long drive, but the kids did amazingly well. They are such great troupers and it's a good thing they like to watch TV. Here are some memorable picts from the trip.

Chris was a great packer!

Taking a drink break on the Fire Truck- loading is tough work! (Bryce and Bryton)

Jared you could probally fit a few more boxes on top!!!

This broke my heart! We were all packed, the house was empty, and it was time to leave. Hayden started crying, ran in the house and was sitting in the living room corner just sobbing saying she didn't want to go. Of couse, then I started to cry too, because I knew exactly how she felt. Change is hard, but it always seems to work out!

Hayden did cheer up and was excited to be out on an Adventure heading to her new home!
(Hayden, Grandma Nae, Jared, and Grandpa Kent)

My dad met us in Dallas for breakfast and he got to meet his name sake Christopher Neil. It was great to see him and the kids were all excited.

Christopher playing "peak a boo" half way through the 3rd day of driving. What a good boy!!

Bryce got some beading done between movies!

The morning after we got to Idaho, the kids had to go right out and play in the snow.
Can you say "Burrrrr Cold when you don't own mittens"!!!

You have joined the real world!! I wanted to start crying when I saw the picture of Hayden. How did you think to snap that? But then you look at smiley and the world changes. We miss you!!!

It was fun to hang out again! Poor Hayden, soooo sad! I wanted to sit in the corner and cry too when you left. Do you think that would have been appropriate for me to do that??? Oh and I'm glad you've now got mittens for you kids.
