Why I love him!!!

I noticed the other day that I don't have any pictures of my cute boyfriend on my blog and with it being the SEASON for all that mushy stuff, I thought I would put a little note about why I love Jared...

He is a GREAT DAD!!!

He is wild and crazy!!!

He looks great in a suit!!!

He loves me even though I'm a little crazy and don't exactly looks like these 2!! (Even when I'm not pregnant)

And last but definately not least... I love him just because he's him!!!!

See what happens when I blog?!?!

This is why I don't post very often.... My children don't do well unsupervised... count them...yep-that is 3 jello pudding cups... Yummy!

Hayden's big day!!!

We had a great weekend and had lots of fun! Friday night my mom and Jeneil came up to visit and spend the night for the big BAPTISM the next day. My dad also got in at about 2 am (crazy Dad who loves to drive) :) So I thought I had everything ready and even with waking up at 7:30 am to get everything ready... it was usual Juli style of running around CRAZY for the last 10 min (as Jared says "like a chicken w my head cut off") trying to get everyone in the van. We made it to the church at 9:29 (1 whole min before scheduled time of 9:30) I walk in feeling pretty good that all has gone well-- we are there and ready for this AMAZING day. I ask the cute little lady to take a fam picture before Jared and Hayden go off to change and I pull out the camera only to discover that I forgot to put the battery (I had made sure to charge) back in the camera AWWWWWW! So I'm okay, I just call and ask my mom to bring it with her! So we change and we are waiting and waiting and waiting for the battery... finally about 9:55 they get there with the battery... I throw it in the camera and go to take the picture to find out I don't have the CARD AWWWW! (what is wrong with me!!!) I loose it and start crying and we head in to the chapell... Now the talks were great and I had finally just accepted the fact that I was a looser mother who forgot the camera and will not have pictures of her daughters big day when my sweet hubby comes up after the talks and says he'll find me a camera and we can take the picts while we are waiting for our turn to go into the "dunking room" (as Hayden called it). So I borrowed another mom's camera and took some cute picts... we proceeded into the "dunking room" when it was our turn and Hayden was so cute and excited. I once again got emotional because my little girl is growing up so fast and I just want her to stay little. We decided to do the conformation there while all our family was there and it was very special Jared gave her a beautiful blessing and Grandma Nae and Grandpa Neil gave there testimony and it was really neat (once again...more emotions)... But Brandi also helped save the day and we got more pictures after the conformation. The cutest thing was Bryce was right up by the glass watching and as Hayden came up out of the water he announced very proudly... "now she's got the HOLY GHOST" I truly am so blessed to have such sweet kids and a great family and friends! Thanks for all you do!
This is a picture of Hayden the next day ready for church in her baptism dress (because I haven't gotten the other pictures from the super mom's who were actually prepared!!! I'll post them later)

American Girl store here we come...

So, I'm not sure who thought of it first, but Hayden and I decided that it would be the funnest b-day ever for the 2 of us to fly to Chicago and go to the American Girl Store. (right in my dreams) I mentioned it to Jared and he actually went for it, so we nervously watched flights and we got to go YEAH!!! We left on Monday, spent Tuesday at THE STORE (seriously we were there for over 6 hours), and came home on Wednesday. It was tons of fun and definitely a b-day she better NEVER forget!

Waiting ever so patiently a the SLC Airport. We didn't make the first flight, but luckily we got on the next one... the joys of flying stand by!!!

Finally we were there! It was so fun to see all of the dolls and all of their STUFF! Or course Hayden loved Kit's the most!!!

My Little Cover Girl!!!

Hayden decided that Kit needed a little bro just like her. She considered naming him Chris for about 30 min, then decided to name him Jason. (Troy was also considered!)

Can you say SPOILED!

Our birthday lunch at the American Girl Cafe was lots of fun. It was pink everywhere. They had the cutest chairs for the dolls and Hayden got her very own birthday cake with candles and all. She was soo excited, she forgot to make a wish, but I'm sure all of her wishes came true for this b-day!!
I told Hayden we could eat where ever she wanted... and would you guess McD's was her #1 choice. It was about 2 blocks from our hotel and was pretty dang cool for McDonalds. It was called the Rock and Roll McDonalds. It was 2 stories with an escalator and everything. Upstairs they had memorabilia from the past 50 years. Of course my fav was the 80's... they had it all from the original Nintendo and game boy to the My Little Ponies, Cabbage Patch Kids and even some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They even had the good old block cell phone I remember my dad having. Good times!!!

Hayden thought the subway was lots of fun. I think she's a little city girl!!!

We had so much fun and Jared and the boys even had a good time at home. Bryce was sad he didn't get to go. I told him that he could go somewhere special for his 8th b-day and he's trying to decide between the American Girl store (but he would get a "son" doll) or maybe Stokes (the local grocery store)!! What a crazy boy!!!

I've never been so scared in my LIFE!!! (but I'm a bit of a chicken)

Well 2 weeks ago the kids didn't have school on Thursday or Friday and since we had all of our YARD jobs done, Jared planned a DAY outing. Fun right?!?! He just told me to pack a picnic and we would drive up and show the kids the ICE CAVES... Sounds great, I did as I was told we loaded in the truck and off we went! We were driving up Mink Creek on the way and Jared starts to tell Hayden about how scared MOM is going to be driving up there... (WHAT I hadn't heard anything about scary roads)... and he's not even sure we can still make it up the old "German Dugway", but no worries, Grandpa Bryce used to drive up this road with his semi and Cat (now if you know Grandpa Bryce that really isn't reassuring because I've heard too may stories of the crazy places and roads he has driven on) None the less, Jared reassures Me (and now Hayden because she's getting a little nervous too) that we will just head up there and if we can't make it we will just turn around... Okay so it will be just fine...we get up to the scary road and YES I'm a LITTLE nervous (mind you this is now a 4 wheeler road that is just slightly wider than the truck with HUGE rocks that we are bouncing over). The worst part is I had to be brave and not show how freaked out I was because now Hayden was very nervous and on the verge of tears at this point telling her dad to turn around!!! Only how are you suppose to turn around when the truck barely fits going strait?? Jared said we could back down if we needed to... WHAT!!! So I had the death grip on the door handle and the "Oh my He!!" handle and a smile on my face telling Hayden it wasn't that bad while in my head I'm running through how I am going to get out of my seat belt and get my 3 kids out of their seats before the truck goes completely over the edge... AWWWWW! Jared is just laughing and telling me to enjoy the veiw and asking if I really think it will help to be holding on if something happens.. Well no, but what else can I do??? (I thought he had outgrown being this adrenaline junkie that broke his back twice, but I guess not!) Once we were off the "scary road" and safely at the top it was gorgeous and the ice cave was fun and amazing. Jared was excited to drive back down the "scary road" but Hayden and I had a vote and were strongly encouraging him that we needed to go the long way home even if it took 2 hours longer. And we did get our way simply because the truck broke and we no longer had 4 wheel drive.... another adventure in this fun filled day... Jared stopped to shift back into 2 wheel drive and the shifter simply broke off. Jared spent about 15 minutes under the truck to discover that since it had been so long since he had driven in 4 wheel drive that the "gaskets"(I think) warped and caused the metal shifter to rust and break (or something like that) anyway he's so HANDY that he crawled under the truck and manually moved the shifter into gear YEAH!!! I was glad that we didn't have to walk back the 10 miles down the mountain back to Grandma Nae's, but mind you I would have happily done that over driving back down the mountain. Looking back, maybe it wasn't as scary as I had it playing out in my mind, but it is not something I will do again in the truck... maybe on a 4 wheeler, we'll see!!! Here are some picts....
Hayden was hiding her face and "STRESSING" a little... Bryce thought it was pretty fun
The VIEW was breathtaking, I couldn't look... I just held up the camera and pointed and shot, it turned out pretty good and I can enjoy the view now!!
Driving up the German Dugway ... aka "The Scary Road"

FINALLY at the top of the WORLD... It was amazing!!! (and MAYBE worth the stress)

I was just happy to be out of the truck on FLAT ground
OH NO!!! The only time Jared was nervous. Good thing he is so "technically" skilled... I would have just started walking and it probably would have take me 2 days to get home... There was no one else up there, so we would have been totally "S O L" if he wouldn't have been able to fix it!!!
THE ICE CAVE truly was amazing. Nature is beautiful... And yes there really was snow inside even at the very end of summer!!!

Happy little family... probably one of the few "FAMILY pictures we have. I propped the camera up on some rocks and set the timer and it actually turned out pretty well!!!
What a fun day trip!!!...Thanks Jared for thinking of it!!!

and my new favorite color is... GREEN!!!

Last Tuesday we got SOD and I'm as sooooo... thankful!! There is still dirt just beyond the grass, but at least SOME of it falls off as the kids run back home. Jared has done an amazing job with the yard. (But did we really expect anything less???) It has taken me a week to post about it, because I was too SORE from laying the sod that I could barely even move my fingers (ha-ha-ha). But honestly that night and next day I could barley move I felt like I waddled when I walked my legs hurt so bad, but I guess what they say is true... the pain is worth the GAIN!!! Yes count them that is 16 Pallets (holy camoli!!!)
Our Audience and kid control (thanks Grandma Nae!!)

THE FINISHED PRODUCT (these were taken a few days later, because yes it was dark out by the time we finished...

We had the trees delivered on Saturday before the grass, and I was working but Jared took some great picts I had to post...
Dad's big helpers (Hayden was in the house, probably watching Disney channel)
